Credit authorization
Each owner listed authorizes GovCon Funding, its affiliates, partners, agents and assignees to obtain business credit reports and consumer credit reports as necessary to evaluate this application. All credit inquiries are conducted in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Information sharing and reporting
Information in this application, and information obtained while evaluating it, may be shared with our affiliates, funding partners, service providers and professional advisers, for the purpose of evaluating, underwriting, funding and servicing a financing facility. We may obtain information about the business and its owners from commercial and consumer credit bureaus, third-party reporting and verification agencies, banks and trade references, and we may report the status and payment history of any facility to those bureaus and agencies. We do not sell this information and we do not share it for anyone else to market to you. Records are kept for as long as the relationship is active and for at least seven years afterwards, or longer where law or regulation requires.
Customer identification
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, federal law requires financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person and business that opens an account. When you apply we ask for the business name, address and taxpayer identification number, and for the name, address, date of birth and Social Security number of each owner. We may also ask to see identifying documents.
Electronic signature and records
By typing your name above and submitting this application you agree to transact with us electronically, and you consent to receive this application, these authorizations and any related notices in electronic form. Your typed name is your signature and has the same legal effect as one written by hand. You may ask us for a paper copy of anything we provide electronically, and you may withdraw your consent to electronic records at any time by contacting us, though withdrawing it does not affect anything already signed. To receive and keep these records you need a device with internet access, a current browser, and the ability to view and save PDF files.
Contact authorization
You agree to be contacted by phone, text and email about this application and about financing, including on numbers listed on a Do Not Call registry, and including by automatic telephone dialing systems and prerecorded messages. Consent is not a condition of obtaining financing. Message and data rates may apply. You can withdraw consent at any time by telling the person you are dealing with, by replying STOP to a text, or by contacting us.
Certification
The undersigned certifies that the information given in this application is true and complete, that they are authorized to submit it on behalf of the business, and authorizes GovCon Funding to verify it with any source, including banks, trade references and credit bureaus.
